Established in July 1995, JSE Services Sdn Bhd (JSESSB) is a fire protection specialist and training provider with over three decades of industry experience. The company began with the design and prefabrication of fire protection piping systems, including automatic sprinkler, wet and dry riser, and gaseous systems, and has since evolved into a trusted distributor and solutions provider for a comprehensive range of fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
Today, JSESSB delivers end-to-end services encompassing system design, supply, installation and maintenance of fire-fighting systems and accessories. Beyond engineering solutions, the company is also actively involved in professional training and consultancy, covering fire safety, hazardous materials (HAZMAT), CBRNe preparedness and occupational safety.
Guided by the leadership of Mr. Steven Ooi, JSE Services continues to expand its capabilities into related mechanical and electrical services, providing integrated, practical and value-driven solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

STEVEN OOI ENG KOOI
Mr Steven Ooi started out his career at M’calister & Co. Ltd. during the early 70s and he subsequently left to start Hart Engineering Sdn Bhd where he was a Director until 1978. He has over 40 years of working experience in the Fire & Safety Industries. He is very active in the local and international fire protection industry and holds numerous positions in various non-governmental organizations related to fire protection. Due to his long time contribution to the Malaysia Fire industry, he has awarded the highest civilian award “Pingat Ketua Pengarah BOMBA” in 2005 by the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia (FRMD). With over four decades of experience in the fire protection industry, he began his career in 1980 as a Technician, where he developed a solid foundation in technical skills and problem-solving. His dedication and expertise soon propelled him into the role of Service and Maintenance Manager, allowing him to lead teams in ensuring the safety and reliability of fire protection systems. Recognizing the importance of blending technical knowledge with client
relations, he transitioned into a sales and technical position. This experience provided him with valuable insights into customer needs and the intricacies of handling switchboards, further enhancing his technical proficiency and customer service skills.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MARA Technological University, he brings years of experience in the fire-related industries. Specializing in Fire Alarm Systems (Addressable & Conventional) Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire Detection and Mass NotificationSystems, he excels in performing analysis, programming, and designing new Fire Alarm and Detection Systems. MOHAMED RIZAL BIN MOHAMED RAZUL
Mohamed Rizal Bin Mohamed Razul has over 15 years of experience working at Jaya Sarana Engineering Sdn. Bhd. He holds Certificates In Electronics From Jasa Technology Centre, as an AO Charge Man (Medium Pressure) From PSDC, and as A Safety & Health Officer from The Malaysian Association Of Productivity. He is also certified as A Fire Extinguisher Competent Person.

Rizal Akmal Bin Muda has a diverse range of work experience, including involvement in projects such as the construction of Hospital Taiping, maintenance and servicing at Nestle Manufacturing in Shah Alam, and new projects at various locations such as Panac Malaysia, Granito Condominium, and Hospital Bagan Speciality Centre. He has also worked on projects like MahaTower in Langkawi, servicing and maintenance at Infineon in Kulim and
B Braun in Penang,and new projects at locations like Ferrotec Kulim, VAT Manufacturing in Batu Kawan, and Intel and First Solar in Kulim. Additionally, Rizal Akmal holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Hons).
AHMAD TARMIZI BIN ABDUL HALIM
Ahmad Tarmizi has been with Jaya Sarana Group since 1983, rising from an Office Assistant to Chief Draughtsman through dedication and proven capability.
An experienced AutoCAD specialist, he delivers precise and reliable technical drawings across a wide range of projects. He also plays a key role in the tendering process, contributing to the company’s project success.
His extensive experience and commitment make him a valued pillar of the organisation.
SHARINAH BINTI JAAFAR
A highly experienced professional with over 30 years of service across multiple functions within Jaya Sarana, including Sales & Marketing, Maintenance, Projects, Administration, and Store, currently contributing in the Supply Chain Management department. Possesses strong cross-functional knowledge of operations and business processes.
Also serves as an Internal Auditor, playing a key role in ensuring that company activities and procedures comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Holds a Diploma in Executive Secretary and is known for reliability, adaptability, and a strong commitment to organisational excellence.
